The HLM Group of Institutions experienced a landmark day as two eminent NASA scientists — Dr. Kumar Krisnen, Principal Chief Technologist, Johnson Space Center (NASA), and Mr. Gabe Gabrielle, Engineer, Kennedy Space Center (NASA) — visited the campus and delivered captivating presentations to a packed auditorium of students, parents, and guests from various institutions.
For the first time ever, both distinguished personalities shared the same stage, delivering an unforgettable experience for everyone in attendance. Mr. Gabe Gabrielle commenced the session with a visually engaging presentation that included captivating video clips and slides showcasing rocket launches, astronaut training, and daily life aboard the International Space Station. He elaborated on how astronauts prepare for space missions and shared insights into the challenges and excitement of living in space. His interactive question-and-answer session kept the audience thoroughly engaged and inspired.
Following this, Dr. Kumar Krisnen took the stage to deliver a powerful presentation on the technological advancements driving space exploration. He also shared his remarkable journey of perseverance and determination — from his early education to becoming the first Indian to achieve a top leadership position at NASA. His story deeply inspired the students and faculty alike.
